Eric Moraes

Eric Moraes is a Brazilian artist and fashion designer whose practice intertwines personal healing, attentive observation, and a unique way of perceiving the world. After a decade in fashion and five years of mural painting, his work now expands into photography and mixed media, deeply influenced by his experience of living with ADHD.

In 2024, Moraes walked 4,237 kilometers through the streets of Barcelona, transforming his daily walks into a ritual of physical, emotional, and mental reconstruction. Along the way, he developed a fascination with wall textures — cracks, paint, and layers of cement — treating them as an urban diary of the city and of himself. The resulting images, often blurred, capture not only surfaces but also the speed and fragmentation of thought, memory, and imagination.

Rooted in passion, a trait he connects strongly to his Brazilian identity, Moraes’ work invites viewers to slow down and notice what is usually overlooked. His practice becomes both a personal journey of healing and an open invitation to walk, see, and feel differently.
