Copy of Copy of The Other Gods
The Other Gods is an eclectic and bold creative project by Berlin-based textile artists and designers Lena Voutta and Thoas Lindner. Their work blurs the lines between fashion, art, and immersive environments, offering a vibrant fusion of tapestry, wearable art, and dramatic masks. With a kaleidoscope of colors, shapes, and textures, their pieces transport viewers into an otherworldly realm where imagination reigns supreme.
Drawing on their extensive backgrounds in fashion design and contemporary art, Lena and Thoas have crafted The Other Gods as a playground for their more avant-garde creations. Their designs, ranging from intricate tapestries to striking costumes, push the boundaries of artistic expression, offering both a visual feast and a sensory experience.
The pair finds inspiration in their travels, nature, and the concept of the Weltenseele, or world soul, infusing their work with deep meaning and a connection to the universe. For the past two years, they’ve retreated to a small cabin in the woods just outside Berlin—a creative haven where The Other Gods are brought to life. This ever-evolving space allows them to reconnect with nature and nurture their creative energy in a serene environment.
